Professional 1500W jewelry flask preheating furnace with intelligent PID temperature control and observation window — engineered for investment mold preparation in jewelry casting studios, reaching 800°C in just 30 minutes.

Key Selling Points

  • Intelligent PID Temperature Control — precise digital regulation with clear display, maintaining stable target temperatures for consistent investment mold preparation results
  • Rapid 30-Minute Heat-Up — 1500W resistance wire heating with silicon oxide lining reaches 800°C (1472°F) in 30 minutes, minimizing workflow downtime
  • Observation Window — monitor the preheating process in real time without opening the furnace door, preventing heat loss and temperature fluctuation
  • Energy-Efficient Three-Layer Insulation — triple-wall furnace structure with superior insulation reduces energy consumption by up to 30% compared to single-wall designs
  • Silicon Oxide Chamber Lining — high-temperature resistant material ensures fast, even heating and excellent heat retention throughout the preheating cycle
  • Dual Voltage 110V and 220V — compatible with studios worldwide, no external converter required

About This Product

The PHYHOO Flask Preheating Furnace is purpose-built for the flask preheating stage of the lost-wax casting process. After wax burnout is completed in a separate burnout oven, this furnace brings the investment mold to the precise casting temperature required for clean metal flow and minimal porosity in the finished piece.

The compact footprint (400 x 330 x 365 mm / 15.7" x 13.0" x 14.4") fits standard jewelry studio benches, while the heat-insulating and flame-retardant construction ensures safe operation in small workshop environments. Suitable for professional casting studios, individual jewelers, and metalsmithing schools.

Temperature Lock Setup Guide

The furnace ships with a temperature lock enabled. You must unlock it before first use by following the steps below.
  • Press and hold the Set button for 5 seconds to access program settings
  • Press Set repeatedly to locate the LCY parameter
  • Set LCY to 0101
  • Press and hold Set for 5 seconds to confirm
  • Power off, wait 1 minute, then restart

Best For / Not For

Best For Not For
Professional jewelry casting studios requiring precise flask preheating before metal pour Wax burnout from investment molds — a separate dedicated wax burnout furnace is required before using this machine
Individual jewelers and metalsmiths working with lost-wax casting in small studio setups Metal melting or smelting — this furnace does not reach temperatures required for melting gold, silver, or other casting metals
Jewelry schools and vocational casting programs needing a safe, controllable preheating solution Ceramic or pottery firing — the 800°C maximum temperature and chamber size are not suited for ceramic kiln applications
Plaster investment mold drying and preparation prior to casting Flasks larger than 4 x 7 inches (101 x 178 mm) — verify your flask dimensions against the chamber size before ordering

Pro Tips

  • Complete wax burnout in a separate burnout furnace before placing the flask in this machine. This furnace is for preheating only — placing a wax-filled flask inside will damage the silicon oxide lining and produce harmful fumes.
  • Preheat the empty furnace for 10 minutes before inserting the flask to stabilize the chamber temperature and ensure even heat distribution from the first minute of the preheating cycle.
  • Set the target temperature 20–30°C above your intended casting temperature to compensate for heat loss during the transfer from furnace to casting machine. Adjust based on your studio's ambient temperature.
  • Keep the observation window clean with a dry, lint-free cloth after each session. Residue buildup on the glass reduces visibility and can cause inaccurate temperature readings if it interferes with the sensor area.
  • Always use the included insulation gloves when handling the flask at temperature. Allow the furnace to cool completely to below 100°C (212°F) before opening for cleaning or inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can this furnace be used for wax burnout?
No. This machine is designed for flask preheating after wax burnout has already been completed. Placing a wax-filled investment mold inside will damage the lining and produce harmful fumes. A separate wax burnout furnace is required for the burnout stage.

Can it melt gold, silver, or other casting metals?
No. This is a preheating furnace, not a metal melting furnace. The maximum temperature of 800°C (1472°F) is below the melting point of most casting metals. A separate crucible furnace or torch is required for metal melting.

What is the maximum flask size the chamber can accommodate?
The chamber measures 150 x 150 x 200 mm (5.9" x 5.9" x 7.9") and accommodates flasks up to 4 x 7 inches (101 x 178 mm). Measure your flask dimensions carefully before ordering to confirm compatibility.

Why does the furnace not respond when I first turn it on?
The furnace ships with a temperature lock enabled. You must unlock it before first use: hold Set for 5 seconds, navigate to LCY, set it to 0101, confirm with Set, then power off and restart after 1 minute. Full instructions are in the setup guide above.

Is the machine compatible with both 110V and 220V power supplies?
Yes. The furnace is available in both 110V and 220V configurations. Select the correct voltage variant for your region at the time of purchase. Do not connect a 110V unit to a 220V supply.
